"If thou wouldst conquer thy weakness thou must not gratify it. "
William Penn

I believe "wouldn't" should be "wouldst," without an apostrophe.

Lurker on 2012-06-25 00:33:04
That's it, sonofcarc, no more "helpful" comments from you! At least I got "thy" right, or I'd still be trying to solve it.

When I saw William Penn, I expected "thy," "thee," and "thou."

SippyGurl on 2015-11-05 19:37:45
there aren't any apostrophes anymore. at least, not what shows after solving... i don't remember what the solving part had.

Escaping the censures should be easy; you'd only have to hide once every ten years.

I like this thread. Some years ago, I went to Seattle with a friend (I live in Portland). We were walking along the waterfront, by the piers, and some music was playing in the distance. As we got closer and closer, I realized it was the Byrds, playing at an amphitheater on a pier in the open air, on a summer night, and they sang this. Magic. Also, free. :-)
